Developed by Josh Wardle, a Brooklyn-based software developer, the Wordle Game is a word-guessing game that he created for himself and his partner since they both like word games. The name "Wordle" is a pun on his last name. From then forth, the support of his loved ones was overwhelming. It has since been decided by Mr. Wardle that he will release it to the general public in October.
