We will be taking a break from our study of the ES7 specification this month to focus on a presentation of React.

Abstract:

According to industry surveys, React is the most popular front-end Javascript framework in terms of usage as well as satisfaction. In this talk, we'll take a look at the history of web development to understand the reasons why frameworks like React exist. We will then dive into a technical introduction into React with some practical guidance on how to get started.

Speaker Bio:

Ilan Klinghofer is a Principal at Slalom Build, a software consulting firm. He has been building software professionally for over twenty years across a wide variety of industries and technologies. His current focus is on modern web development and cloud architecture.
