The focus of this session will be on Jekyll - a very popular static site generator (SSG). Attendees will be able to access this session via the YouTube stream at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxwaAoqGMO0

Together we'll build our brand new community homepage using the following technologies: GitHub Pages, Jekyll, AMP, Netlify. It's a great chance for everyone to learn how to build simple but yet powerful websites for FREE, using up to date tools and reliable infrastructure.

Everyone is welcome to participate at this live coding session! Even if you are not an experienced coder!

Your homework BEFORE the event: - create an account at GitHub, if you already don't have one, and add yourself to our "Cloud Community" organization ("org") at GitHub. Below you'll learn how to do it.

Officially we allocate 2 hours for this event, but indeed it can go open ended. The content and the duration of the session will be decided ad-hoc by our fellow community members.
