NEW PLAN We will attempt a virtual meeting via Google Hangouts:

Should the Library open its doors prior to April 14, we will have the meeting as normal and attempt to also do the virtual meeting broadcast.

According to the Fremont Public Library's web site, "The library is closed due to Coronavirus/COVID-19 until further notice."

Be sure to check back here 48 hours prior to attending for future updates.

Overview

We will continue our study of the ES7 specification and then look at different ways to debug your scripts.

HOME WORK !!!!

Before the next meeting everyone is required to read chapter 5 (Notational Conventions) of: ECMA-Script version 7 specification You can also download this spec as a PDF copy

Topics:

  1. The group will discuss the contents of the specification as defined by the above homework assignment. Share what you have learned and ask questions if necessary.
  2. An open discussion of debugging techniques. What do you do when your web page / javascript project doesn't work. Members will have the opportunity to share problems they have run into and what tools they may have used for debugging.

Given the state of our current world, we may want to consider using some virtual / web meeting technology. Any thoughts ?

Note; Due to the poor performance of Webex last Tuesday, I am switching our virtual meeting to Google Hangouts. See the event page for connection info. I will go out on a limb here and say that Google Hangouts probably works best via the Chrome Browser.
