More on the talks
An introduction to usability testing - Calum Ryan
Testing usability of a digital product takes on a wide variety of test types and feedback processes that I hope to elaborate on in this talk. Designers, developers, product owners and anyone with a vested interested should all partake in this process, from defining the tests to measuring the success and failures of different usability testing.
Calum has worked in front-end development for around ten years. He is currently working at Helpful Digital focusing on making the web accessible and usable for all.
Inclusivity, not accessibility - Matt Bee
Many people think accessibility is just catering for disabled users. Hopefully I can show how we should be forgetting about accessibility and start thinking about inclusivity in everything you do, from the start. A very different future is coming, so make sure you're ready.
Matt works at FutureLearn, transforming education. As well as mentoring and working with React, CSS and Ruby; Matt is FutureLearn's unofficial accessibility advocate.
React + ASP.NET Core = 👍 - James Singleton
Learn about ASP.NET Core, Microsoft's cross-platform and open-source web application framework, and how to integrate a React app with a .NET Core API back-end written in C#.
James runs a software development company, is the author of the book ASP.NET Core 2 High Performance and blogs at unop.uk.
