The one thing this free service lacks is a place to have a discussion that isn't an event. So this "event" is just here in case you want to discuss anything. We'll see how that works. Otherwise, we should share e-mails so we can get a group e-mail going.

Hello? [[taps the mic]] one, two...one, two... [[looks away to someone behind a curtain]] is this thing on? //a loud feedback noise fills the room// Ouch...[[clears throat]] hello to whoever can read me. I was thinking about starting to paint miniatures again and it just occurred to me that maybe, just maybe, you would be interested in that. I talked to the boss, obvs I’m talking about my SO, and she said that it is more than cool to have Monday afternoons for me. So, what ya’ think? Would you like to paint some miniatures in the store together? Maybe an upcoming character that you want to have a physical representation off? Or a current/past character? I have a lot of acrylic paint and some brushes that can be shared. Also, they sell a couple of lines of fantasy themed miniatures in the cheap. Those are called Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures, Deep Cuts and Reaper Bones. Think about it and lets talk it out next time we see each other at the table, or send me an email to start the email group if you feel like it (gmapu@outlook). See you guys later.

Oh man I have so many Reaper Bones minis to paint. They are kind of sitting there for when my kids are a little older. I might be up for this at some point.

What??? Y'all are gonna force me into bifocals any minute, the small print in the Player's Handbook's bad enough ... but I'm totally fascinated by the miniatures, game for painting them, always have the boys with me but they are prob. good for minis too if not they can just read Enriching Literature while I hang. So: I'm up for minis. Totally. what a cool idea. Plus, you rock at writing up the whole mic thing. :) adding my email (sort of): if you look at my gettogether username, my email is firstname.lastname@gmail.com :)

Felipe: super fun game last night. !!!! Boys & I are definitely fans of the Felipe-Style Game. Andy, thanks so much for lending us your book on DCC: we're figuring it out! Andy & Felipe -- the boys also have a request of sorts: during the next couple of months they'd love to get a chance to play some D&D characters they've designed but they aren't sure how that fits into the group's plans. Maybe y'all can help me brainstorm character-development opportunities ... no urgency on this, I just didn't want to forget about it entirely and now that it lives on Comments I probably won't!

Ana: Are their characters specifically for the D&D rules or could they be adapted to other systems? I ask only because if we're playing Dungeon Crawl Classics and then possibly Shadowrun, it might be a bit before D&D-specific characters could be implemented.

Andy: it is Nathaniel who figured that out! Maybe we can talk it over when we're all together? it is an n-dimensional concern where "n" is too large for my poor head :)

So, I sent you guys an email about Ana's question and what I think is what the kids want.
