Canceled due to clouds.

The moon will be the most popular target this month. It will be 7 days old so it will be visible before the event actually starts and will be available until we pack up at around 10pm. Mars will be visible also, but it will not be at its best. I'm sure we'll look at it but don't get all excited about it; it's really small when its so far away. There are some good double stars and a few clusters that we can aim for also.

This is a free event. We don't ask for (or even accept) donations. This is simply for the love of astronomy. If the weather is nice, you can expect to see about 200-300 guests there.

Time:
May 11, 2019, 8 p.m. - May 11, 2019, 10 p.m.
