Tweet ShareA few weeks ago, I came across an article https://sdk.finance/blog/what-is-card-issuing-and-how-does-it-work/ and was surprised at how deeply it revealed the process of issuing bank cards — not just physical ones, but even virtual ones. It explains that "card issuing" means when a financial institution (or fintech company) actually issues a card: creates an account, connects to a payment network, tracks transactions, and handles security.
