Topic: Making a bootable Linux USB

We are going to do a demonstration of making a bootable USB from Netbootin (Linux/Windows/Mac tool) and Pendrive (Windows tool?).

Pendrive, has an option for multiple boot OS.

I'll bring in a bunch of 8GB usb drives for people to try to install the Linux OS of their choice.

Please download the Linux distribution you want to put to a USB drive BEFORE the meeting. As our bandwidth is slow and won't accommodate this.

As discussed at our meeting, not all older computers can boot from a USB drive.

For those looking for heads up visit:

If time permits, we have 2 other items on the agenda.

  1. Helping a member with Raspberry Pi, wifi issues.
  2. Video on Grav from another member.
